What You’ll Do
- Record, organize, and store correspondence and data related to early childhood development.
- Update registers and maintain statistics to support departmental functions.
- Handle routine inquiries and provide information to stakeholders as needed.
- Photocopy and manage the distribution of documents/packages to various departments.
- Maintain the filing system for the infrastructure unit, ensuring easy access to information.
- Type basic correspondence and letters as requested by management.
- Keep records of incoming and outgoing documents for the infrastructure unit.
- Provide secretariat services for departmental meetings and initiatives.
- Capture project information in the Infrastructure Reporting Model (IRM) and Education Facility Management System (EFMS).
What You’ll Need
- NQF Level 6 qualification recognized by SAQA. A qualification in Construction, Facility Maintenance, or Project Management is advantageous.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Construction, Facility Maintenance, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data capturing with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, along with flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with advanced skills.
