What You’ll Do
- Coordinate strategic and operational risk assessment workshops and maintain risk registers.
- Compile and track audit findings to inform risk evaluations and reviews.
- Draft quarterly reports on risk mitigation progress for the department.
- Assist the Risk Management Committee by preparing meeting packs and managing logistical arrangements.
- Support the development and execution of the Business Continuity Programme.
- Liaise with stakeholders to implement effective contingency management plans.
- Maintain accurate records and manage the budget of the Directorate.
- Capture and manage risks associated with the Business Continuity Management framework.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate and an NQF Level 6 Diploma/Advanced Certificate in Risk Management, Accounting, Internal Auditing, Social Science, or a related field.
- Between 1-2 years of experience in Risk and Business Continuity Management.
- Strong project management skills along with effective oral and written communication abilities.
- A good understanding of governance, policy formulation, and public sector regulations.
- Analytical skills to gather and interpret information effectively.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
