What You’ll Do

  • Accompany walking patients and assist non-walking patients using wheelchairs or trolleys from reception to wards and treatment centers.
  • Direct or escort visitors to various destinations within the hospital.
  • Assist with loading and unloading patients from ambulances and vehicles.
  • Transfer patients to and from beds and trolleys as needed.
  • Carry medical documentation, reports, and patient files to appropriate areas.
  • Help with the movement of medical equipment between rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and report any defects of trolleys and wheelchairs.
  • Assist with the transportation of corpses from wards.
  • Safely transport blood and specimens within the hospital.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic reading, writing, and numerical abilities.
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Comfort with handling deceased bodies.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy objects safely.
