What You’ll Do

  • Transport patients to and from wards, operating theatres, and other service areas.
  • Assist in the safe handling and transportation of corpses to the mortuary.
  • Deliver medical equipment, supplies, and documentation to various departments.
  • Clean and maintain stretchers and wheelchairs, ensuring hygiene and safety at all times.
  • Report any faulty equipment to your supervisor promptly.
  • Document the receipt and release of corpses, maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer care to patients and families throughout your duties.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 3 (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts and handle pressure effectively.
  • A sound understanding of customer care principles.
