What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and effectively manage the administration of service terminations including resignations, retirements, and discharges.
  • Oversee the leave administration process, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Process leave gratuities and manage termination of service documentation.
  • Administer long service awards, medical aid, and housing allowances for public service employees.
  • Manage PERSAL transactions related to service benefits efficiently.
  • Compile analysis and reports on CoE liabilities to inform departmental decision-making.
  • Uphold adherence to Batho Pele Principles and other human resource policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent, recognized by SAQA.
  • At least two years of experience in Human Resource Management, particularly in the Conditions of Service field.
  • Successful completion of PERSAL Administration training.
  • A valid South African driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and PILIR.
  • Proficient in the PERSAL and PCM systems.
  • Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage data accurately and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to client orientation.
