About the Role
The Department of Finance is looking for a dedicated Personal Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer based in Johannesburg. What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer
- Manage and coordinate diaries, appointments, and correspondence
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes
- Draft reports and submissions, ensuring high-quality documentation
- Maintain filing systems and manage office records efficiently
- Coordinate travel and logistical arrangements as needed
- Monitor budget-related documentation and assist with procurement processes
- Facilitate effective communication between the Chief Financial Officer’s office and stakeholders
- Alert management to any potential budgetary issues, such as over-expenditure
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification
- A Secretarial Diploma or equivalent qualification in Office Administration
- A minimum of three to five years’ experience in administrative and secretarial support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy and professional telephone etiquette
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively
- Planning, organizing, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
