What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the coordination of revenue management support initiatives for municipalities.
  • Facilitate cash management strategies to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Lead debt management support initiatives to assist municipalities in managing their obligations effectively.
  • Coordinate support for indigent households to ensure access to essential services.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of frameworks and policies in line with Norms and Standards.
  • Manage the resources of the Sub-directorate to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of an NQF Level 7 Degree or higher in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • At least 3 years of junior management experience in revenue and debt management within the municipal finance field.
  • A valid Driver’s license (assistance provided for individuals with disabilities).
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) and Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and policy development.
