What You’ll Do
- Provide secretarial and receptionist support to the Chief Director, managing daily communications and scheduling.
- Assist in the organization and administration of meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared.
- Support the management of the Chief Director’s budget, helping to maintain accurate financial records.
- Study relevant public service and departmental policies to ensure compliance and understanding within the office.
- Maintain a professional and organized office environment, contributing to overall departmental efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma in Office Administration, Office Management and Technology, or Public Administration (NQF Level 6).
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, either before or after obtaining your qualification.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Basic understanding of financial administration.
- Strong language skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and computer literacy.
- Well-developed organizational and people skills, with a high level of reliability and discretion.
- Self-motivation, effective self-management, and strong research abilities.
