What You’ll Do

  • Provide essential secretarial and administrative support to the manager.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Assist in managing the manager’s budget, including tracking and reporting expenditures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with departmental policies.
  • Ensure that relevant public service policies and procedures are understood and applied correctly.
  • Support the manager in various administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or equivalent qualification.
  • An accredited secretarial diploma and/or relevant administrative qualification at NQF level 5 or higher.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in providing support to management or senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of general support, financial processes, and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Effective planning and organizing skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
