What You’ll Do

  • Provide secretarial support to the principal, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Operate and maintain office equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order.
  • Record and manage the principal’s engagements and appointments, facilitating effective scheduling.
  • Compile and manage documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and procure standard office supplies for the principal’s activities.
  • Support the manager in organizing meetings, including recording minutes and following up on resolutions.
  • Monitor expenditure and provide reports to the principal regarding budget allocations and commitments.
  • Stay updated with policies and procedures relevant to the office, ensuring efficient operations.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate and a recognized 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Office Management, Public Management, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting senior management.
  • Valid driver’s license and computer literacy are essential.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, alongside excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A high level of reliability and the ability to work extra hours when necessary.
