What You’ll Do

  • Provide executive secretarial support, including diary management for the Director.
  • Prepare meeting logistics and briefing packs for high-level engagements.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  • Manage confidential documents and ensure compliance with POPIA and departmental regulations.
  • Assist in the administration of the budget and track expenditures.
  • Support the Director in coordinating meetings, events, and projects.
  • Oversee office administration tasks, including performance management and supplies control.
  • Stay updated on relevant public service policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

  • An accredited secretarial diploma or administrative qualification at NQF level 5.
  • Previous experience providing secretarial or administrative support to senior management.
  • A valid Code 8 driver’s license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including minute-taking and report writing.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of government protocols and administrative procedures.
