What You’ll Do

  • Provide secretarial and receptionist support to senior management, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are ready and available.
  • Support the management of budgets by providing administrative assistance and ensuring compliance with departmental policies.
  • Review and proofread submissions and documents, offering analytical insights to the Director and Chief Director.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for important documents and correspondence, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
  • Conduct research as required, compiling relevant information to assist in decision-making processes.

What You’ll Need

  • A Secretarial Diploma or an equivalent qualification related to secretarial work.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in providing administrative support to senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures within the public service framework.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with individuals at various levels.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and good organizational abilities.
  • A high level of reliability and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for research and document evaluation.
