The Department of Infrastructure is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional for the position of Deputy Director: Budget Immovable Asset based in Cape Town, Western Cape. What You’ll Do
- Undertake financial planning and budgeting for infrastructure projects.
- Manage the roll-over, Adjustment Estimates of National Expenditure (AENE), and virement process.
- Oversee the reporting of the Immovable Assets Sub-directorate, including contributions to the Infrastructure Reporting Model (IRM).
- Supervise administrative and operational functions within the Immovable Asset Sub-directorate.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year B-Degree or higher in Financial Management.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in management accounting at a supervisory or management level.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and related Treasury Regulations.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and report-writing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement abilities.
