About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support in processing permits.
- Manage and maintain permit query registers and electronic databases.
- Collate and file processed permit applications accurately.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide advice on permit matters.
- Receive and evaluate applications for various wildlife permits.
- Distribute issued permits to applicants within designated timeframes.
- Administer environmental management plan recommendations effectively.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF 4 qualification (Grade 12) recognized by SAQA.
- An NQF 6 qualification in Public Administration, Office Management, or a related field is advantageous.
- At least one year of experience in a relevant administrative role.
- A valid driver’s license (exceptions apply for individuals with disabilities).
- Willingness to travel as needed for the role.
- Knowledge of relevant acts, directives, and resolutions related to environmental management.
- Proficiency in computer applications and excellent administrative skills.
- Strong records management abilities and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
