What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of primary health care services in the designated area.
  • Develop customized implementation strategies based on health policy and program imperatives.
  • Identify barriers to effective health care and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure that primary health care services receive adequate support from multidisciplinary teams and corporate service providers.
  • Implement various primary health care programs for seamless service delivery.
  • Manage allocated resources effectively, including budgetary and procurement planning.
  • Maintain prescribed information management systems to track performance and outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate and a Degree/Diploma in General Nursing, plus a year of post-basic qualification in Primary Health Care or Community Nursing Science.
  • Current registration with SANC as a General Nurse and Primary Health Care Nurse.
  • A minimum of 9 years of nursing experience, with 5 years post-basic qualification experience in Primary Health Care.
  • Certificate of service from previous and current employers, endorsed and stamped by HR.
  • A valid Code 08 Driver’s license and proof of computer literacy will be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing care, public service regulations, and health policies.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
