What You’ll Do
- Oversee the management and delivery of Primary Health Care services at the Napier Clinic.
- Ensure person-centered nursing care is provided in accordance with established nursing standards.
- Supervise nursing staff and manage performance, including staff utilization and training.
- Coordinate health programs such as Community-Based Services (CBS), Comprehensive Health, and School Health initiatives.
- Collect and submit accurate health data and reports to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Organize and implement cost-effective health services while engaging with the community to promote health initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness within the clinic environment.
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent, allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Clinical Nursing Science or a 4-year bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Minimum of 9 years of recognized nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant specialty after obtaining post-basic qualifications.
- Valid code 8/EB driver’s license and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with strong knowledge of nursing and public service legislation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
