What You’ll Do

• Facilitate the provision of a comprehensive package of services at the PHC level, including priority programs and quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop, monitor, and report on the implementation of the Clinic Operational Plan.
• Participate in clinical audits and ensure that quality improvement plans are followed diligently.
• Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure continuity of patient care through effective handovers and communication.
• Implement Batho Pele principles, National Core Standards, and ideal clinic priorities.
• Manage resources efficiently, including human, material, and physical resources.
• Compile and submit monthly and quarterly reports on clinic performance and activities.
• Lead the integration of health services based on relevant policy imperatives to reduce the burden of disease.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing.
• At least 5 years of experience post a one-year qualification in Primary Health Care.
• Grade 12 and a basic R425 qualification (Degree/Diploma in nursing) that allows registration with SANC.
• Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Primary Health Care.
• Strong knowledge of nursing care processes, relevant legislation, and public service frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in report writing and data management.
• Good interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and team building.
