What You’ll Do

  • Manage daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care at the Orchard Clinic.
  • Supervise nursing staff and oversee performance management processes.
  • Implement health policies, protocols, and standards to maintain compliance and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate community health initiatives, including health screenings and awareness programs.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and reporting for continuous health service improvement.
  • Manage financial resources and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • A Basic R425 qualification or equivalent that allows registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • A post-basic qualification in Clinical Nursing Science or a 4-year bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
  • A minimum of 9 years of recognized nursing experience, with at least 5 years post-basic qualification experience.
  • Valid Code B/EB driver’s license and willingness to attend community needs after hours.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a solid understanding of nursing and public service legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
