What You’ll Do

  • Plan and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related regulations.
  • Confirm registration with the Unemployment Insurance Act and the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act.
  • Independently investigate and resolve incidents and complaints related to the OHS Act.
  • Conduct proactive inspections and compile detailed reports on findings.
  • Lead advocacy campaigns to promote understanding of labour legislation.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of regional inspection plans and reports.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric/Grade 12/Senior Certificate.
  • A recognized qualification in Electrical Engineering at NQF level 6/7.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of departmental policies, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and relevant regulations.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and interpersonal skills.
