What You’ll Do
- Support primary health care facilities by providing nutritional assessments and interventions.
- Coordinate and implement nutrition strategies, ensuring adherence to departmental policies.

- Provide therapeutic counselling to patients regarding dietary management and nutrition.
- Monitor and evaluate nutrition programs, including community-based initiatives and growth promotion.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to nutrition activities and stock control.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- A Dietetics Degree with current registration as a Nutritionist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Relevant experience in the field of nutrition, with specific requirements varying based on years of registration.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, alongside leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of health legislation, regulations, and nutritional ethics.
- Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license.
