What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
  • Current registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
  • For Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration.
  • For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and night duty as necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-stress environment and rotate between wards as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Knowledge of nursing legislation, policies, and protocols established by the Department of Health, Western Cape.
