What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Provide elementary clinical nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to support effective healthcare delivery.
- Uphold professional growth and ethical standards in your nursing practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and support.

What You’ll Need
- A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
- Registration with SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of appropriate nursing experience post-registration.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of appropriate nursing experience post-registration.
- Willingness to work shifts, public holidays, weekends, and assist in various wards as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with basic computer skills in MS Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation, policies, and protocols of the Department of Health and Wellness.
