What You’ll Do

• Assist patients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Provide elementary clinical nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to support effective healthcare delivery.

What You’ll Need

• A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
• Registration with SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
• For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years of appropriate nursing experience post-registration.
• For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of appropriate nursing experience post-registration.
• Willingness to work shifts, public holidays, weekends, and assist in various wards as needed.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with basic computer skills in MS Word and Outlook.
• Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation, policies, and protocols of the Department of Health and Wellness.
