What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges within the wards.
- Manage transport bookings and respond to patient queries effectively.
- Conduct daily ward rounds to ensure accurate tracking of patient movements using Clinicom.
- Support general administrative tasks, including folder management and ad hoc duties as required by the ward.
- Ensure effective management of ward resources, including stock replenishment and inventory control.
- Compile and collect data for monthly reporting related to ward activities.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum educational qualification.
- Experience in patient administration within a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with Clinicom or similar patient information systems.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and managing conflict effectively.
- Willingness to work overtime and assist in other wards as necessary.
