What You’ll Do
- Sort and arrange correspondences within the registry for efficient access.
- Collect, distribute, and circulate various forms of correspondence, including mail, parcels, documents, and files.
- Maintain a correspondence register to record and control all incoming and outgoing items.
- Ensure that mail and packages are sealed and accurately addressed before collection.
- Deliver items to addressees and ensure they sign for receipt in the delivery register.
- Assist with general office tasks, including making copies, faxing, and shredding documents.
What You’ll Need
- ABET level 4 or NQF level 1 to 3 (no experience required).
- Basic computer literacy to assist with various tasks.
- Strong organizational skills to manage correspondences effectively.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact positively with colleagues and clients.
- Basic written communication skills to maintain clarity in documentation.
- A client-oriented mindset with a focus on serving the community effectively.
