In your daily responsibilities, you will engage with the community by managing the laundry needs of both the facility’s linen and the clothing of service users. What You’ll Do

  • Collect, sort, count, and record clean and soiled linen as well as service users’ clothing.
  • Launder all types of laundry, including linen and personal clothing.
  • Conduct regular stocktaking of linen and report any items needing repair to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the linen room.

What You’ll Need

  • ABET Level 2 qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety standards, hygiene practices, and Batho-Pele Principles.
  • Ability to operate basic machines and equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
