What You’ll Do

  • Drive light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver mail and documents.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the allocated vehicle and report any defects.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records related to the vehicle and the goods handled.
  • Collect and deliver mail and documents from various locations as requested.
  • Deliver invitations and essential documents to stakeholders, including businesses.
  • Assist in registry activities and attend to district logistical support services.
  • Provide transport services for district officials to facilitate their duties.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 3 qualification (Grade 8 / ABET / AET) or an equivalent recognized by SAQA.
  • A valid driver’s license and a valid PDP license.
  • Seven to twelve months of driving experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of messenger services, planning, and organizing.
  • Computer literacy and good people skills.
  • Basic written communication skills and the ability to act with tact and discretion.
  • High reliability, excellent grooming, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate photocopying machines and strong organizational skills.
