What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality ambulatory and emergency clinical services to children.
- Focus on child protection and long-term health conditions in treatment plans.
- Engage in teaching and training activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct clinical audits and participate in ongoing research projects.
- Manage and utilize the HECTIS patient management system and other relevant health applications.
- Ensure adherence to clinical governance principles and departmental protocols.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate medical qualification for HPCSA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
- Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
- Relevant experience post-registration, depending on the grade level applied for.
- Valid Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Proven leadership and teamwork skills in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel within the district and metro region.
