What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality ambulatory and emergency clinical services to children.
• Focus on child protection and long-term health conditions in treatment plans.
• Engage in teaching and training activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct clinical audits and participate in ongoing research projects.
• Manage and utilize the HECTIS patient management system and other relevant health applications.
• Ensure adherence to clinical governance principles and departmental protocols.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate medical qualification for HPCSA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
• Relevant experience post-registration, depending on the grade level applied for.
• Valid Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel within the district and metro region.
