What You’ll Do

  • Provide clinical services in both the district hospital and primary health care settings.
  • Conduct forensic service provision as needed.
  • Ensure quality assurance protocols are met within your clinical practice.
  • Support the Clinical Manager in operational and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives for staff and other health professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care and health outcomes.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant qualification allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • For Grade 1: No experience required for SA qualified medical practitioners; 1 year of relevant experience for foreign qualified practitioners.
  • For Grade 2: Minimum of 5 years of appropriate experience as a Medical Practitioner (SA qualified); 6 years for foreign qualified.
  • For Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years of appropriate experience as a Medical Practitioner (SA qualified); 11 years for foreign qualified.
  • Valid Code B/EB driver’s license and willingness to rotate between health care facilities.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
