What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage procurement strategies for infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and oversee the Infrastructure Programme Management Plan (IPMP) and project budgets.
  • Prepare and present Project Execution Plans to the Implementing Agent.
  • Monitor the implementation of projects, ensuring compliance with service delivery agreements.
  • Assess and manage maintenance projects, providing guidance and training to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project commissioning and conduct site evaluations.
  • Prepare progress reports outlining financial and non-financial indicators.
  • Engage with community structures to facilitate effective project execution.
  • Participate in evaluations and continuous improvement of infrastructure projects and practices.

What You’ll Need

  • A Degree (NQF 7) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSA or as a Professional Construction Project Manager with SACPCMP.
  • A valid driver’s license and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Construction Industry Development Board Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
