What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support to the districts and coordinate health system implementation.
- Assist in achieving the ideal clinic status in preparation for Universal Health Care.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders through the District Development Model Forum.
- Strengthen Primary Health Care and integrate various health programs within the budget.
- Develop and monitor a strategy for effective program performance assessment.
- Manage resources efficiently to meet service delivery objectives.
- Plan and organize work to fulfill client expectations while applying problem-solving strategies.
- Oversee human resource planning and people management within the nursing division.
- Guide and lead the division towards achieving strategic goals and objectives.
What You’ll Need
- Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing) allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant nursing experience post-registration, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate at various levels of care.
- In-depth knowledge of Health-related Acts, regulations, and policies.
- Strong understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
