What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan aligned with departmental strategic objectives.
• Manage and coordinate community development activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Oversee and monitor the activities of service providers and assess their effectiveness.
• Promote inter-sectoral collaboration to guarantee integrated and holistic community services.
• Formulate, implement, and maintain community development policies and integrated development programs.
• Manage the physical, financial, and human resources effectively to achieve strategic goals.
• Conduct complex research and analysis to inform community development strategies.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 or equivalent in fields such as Development Studies, Social Sciences, or Community Development.
• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in community development.
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (excluding persons with disabilities).
• In-depth knowledge of community development theories, systems, and legislation.
• Strong management skills with the ability to influence and motivate individuals and groups.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in financial management and project management.
