What You’ll Do

  • Promote active collaboration between the Minister and relevant departments.
  • Coordinate departmental contributions to cluster work in economic sectors, social protection, and international relations.
  • Provide secretariat services to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on land reform and agriculture.
  • Manage the implementation of the Programme of Action in line with the Minister’s performance agreement.
  • Facilitate integrated planning across the three spheres of government.
  • Develop and operationalise intergovernmental relations strategies.
  • Support the Minister’s events related to intergovernmental relations.
  • Manage external and international stakeholder relations to enhance cooperation.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Development Studies, Social Science, Political Science, or a related qualification.
  • A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) submitted prior to appointment.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a senior managerial level in the public sector.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in government programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and international relations skills.
  • Knowledge of public service structures, policies, and legislation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence.
