What You’ll Do
- Maintain and administer the TVETMIS, ensuring accurate data capture and extraction.
- Compile and produce various reports and statistics for the college.
- Update information on COLTECH / TVET MIS and related systems as needed.
- Provide administration for all academic and student-related system programmes, including courses and qualifications.
- Facilitate the renewal of TVETMIS licenses before their expiry dates.
- Supervise staff and manage their performance within the MIS team.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 / NCV level 4 or equivalent.
- National Diploma (NQF level 6) or Degree in Information Management, Data Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of working experience in Management of Information Systems (MIS) or Data Management.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of CET Act, ISO, and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with PSET and TVET Curriculums, as well as TVETMIS system and annual reporting requirements by Higher Education Institutions.
- Proficient in Information Management, office management, COLTECH, data warehousing, and IT guidelines.
- Strong planning, organizing, problem-solving, computer literacy, and report writing skills.
