What You’ll Do
- Administer the Learner Transport Scheme (LTS) application process for new routes and existing routes
- Maintain a database of received applications for tracking purposes
- Verify learner details and ensure accuracy of applications
- Create detailed route maps with GPS coordinates for transport routes
- Facilitate bi-annual vehicle testing and manage monthly vehicle testing schedules
- Oversee the processing of monthly claims from principals and transport contractors
- Conduct inspections and monitor compliance for learner transport schemes
- Train, motivate, and guide staff to ensure excellence in service delivery
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
- A 3-year relevant post-school qualification
- Valid driver’s license (excluding code A/A1)
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Knowledge of National and Provincial legislation, policies, and guidelines related to transport
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in two official languages of the Western Cape
- Proficiency in computer literacy and recordkeeping
