What You’ll Do

  • Develop, plan, and implement academic programs for nursing students
  • Design, review, and evaluate the nursing curriculum
  • Prepare and present lessons while mentoring students in their academic and research projects
  • Participate in the development of college policies and ensure adherence to training procedures
  • Create and assess clinical learning opportunities and monitor students during clinical placements
  • Serve on various committees, including research and policy-making committees
  • Conduct nursing research and assist in organizing career guidance exhibitions for community engagement
  • Maintain effective communication with students, colleagues, and supervisors

What You’ll Need

  • A diploma or degree in nursing, or a related qualification allowing registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse
  • A post-basic qualification in Nursing Education registered with the SANC
  • At least four years of recognized experience in General Nursing after registration with the SANC
  • Strong teaching skills and the ability to function in a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in using computer technology to enhance educational programs
