What You’ll Do

• Render laundry services in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collect and transport linen from designated depots to the laundry facility.
• Maintain accurate records of linen collected and returned.
• Prepare and disinfect linen for washing following established procedures.
• Inspect, mend, and mark laundry to ensure quality.
• Operate various laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and ironers.
• Iron, fold, count, and pack laundered items for delivery.
• Sort and record dirty linen and ensure timely delivery to clients.
• Report any machine faults or issues to the supervisor.
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment in optimal condition.

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
• Understanding of laundry operations and procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical strength to handle the demands of the work.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including night shifts.
• Honesty and reliability in carrying out job responsibilities.
