What You’ll Do

• Provide efficient laundry services, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
• Collect linen from various depots and deliver it to relevant units
• Maintain accurate records of linen collected and returned
• Prepare and disinfect linen according to established guidelines
• Inspect, mend, and mark laundry items to keep them in good condition
• Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and ironers
• Iron, fold, count, and pack laundered items for delivery
• Sort, count, and record dirty linen for processing
• Report any equipment issues to the supervisor promptly
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of laundry equipment

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent)
• Understanding of laundry operations and procedures
• Good communication skills with the ability to work shifts, including nights
• Physical strength to handle the demands of the job
• Ability to work effectively in a team or independently
• Honesty and reliability in all tasks performed
