What You’ll Do

  • Provide laundry services, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Collect and accurately record linen from various depots
  • Prepare, disinfect, and wash linen according to established procedures
  • Maintain the quality of linen through inspection, mending, and marking
  • Operate laundry machines, including washing, drying, and ironing equipment
  • Iron, fold, count, and pack laundered items efficiently
  • Sort, count, and document dirty linen for processing
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor and assist with maintenance

What You’ll Need

  • NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent)
  • No prior experience required, but an understanding of laundry operations is beneficial
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including nights
  • Physical strength to handle the demands of the role
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required
  • Honesty and reliability in all tasks
