What You’ll Do

  • Support the offloading of stock and materials from trucks.
  • Assist in checking stock for quantity and quality based on external receipts and invoices.
  • Report any damages to the supervisor and transit-in clerk.
  • Handle the receiving and verification of obsolete and unserviceable stock from various divisions.
  • Participate in stock-taking activities by counting and checking items in store.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse manager to manage transit-in tasks effectively.
  • Assist in the disposal process of obsolete and unserviceable stock.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in the core functions of the post.
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language.
  • Citizenship of the Republic of South Africa, with proof required at the interview.
  • ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7/NQF Level 1 qualification.
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Capability to operate elementary machines and equipment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
