What You’ll Do

  • Enable access and utilization of the Education Knowledge and Information Management Systems within the district and schools
  • Provide support in the development and enhancement of electronic business solutions
  • Maintain and update the infrastructure asset register, ensuring all hardware and software is accounted for
  • Assist with data analysis services within the Education District, ensuring data integrity
  • Facilitate knowledge management systems user training and support
  • Liaise with stakeholders for standardized and ad hoc reporting requests
  • Execute interventions for the review and improvement of information systems

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate (or equivalent) and a relevant three-year qualification
  • A valid driver’s license (excluding code A/A1)
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of ICT strategies and operational plans
  • Familiarity with Education Information Systems (e.g., DMIS, CEMIS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in at least two official languages of the Western Cape
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer literacy and report writing capabilities
