What You’ll Do
- Implement and ensure compliance with human resource policies and procedures.
- Administer recruitment, selection, and appointment processes to fill vacancies efficiently.
- Manage probation administration and ensure that new employees receive the support they need.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to address HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Provide comprehensive HR administration services, including the compilation of monthly HR statistics.
- Process accommodation and travel claims accurately and timely.
- Prepare memorandums for remuneration and employee service benefits.
- Handle various employee benefits and allowances, including housing, long service recognition, and performance rewards.
- Manage staff movements associated with retirement, resignation, and other changes in employment status.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate B-degree (NQF level 7) or a three-year diploma (NQF level 6).
- A minimum of two years relevant experience in Human Resource Administration.
- Demonstrable competency in acting independently, professionally, and with accountability.
- Working knowledge of PERSAL and HR legislation, including the Public Service Act and Labour Relations Act.
- Proficiency in HR information management and computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong administrative skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Good planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
An appropriate B -degree (NQF level 7) or Three (3) year Diploma (NQF level 6).Minimum two years relevant experience in Human Resource Administration.
Demonstrable competency in acting Independently, Professionally, Accountable and with Credibility.
Working knowledge of PERSAL.
Knowledge of legislation and regulations pertaining to public service administration, specifically: The Public Service Act and Regulations, NPA Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment 52 Equity Act, Skills Development Act.
Knowledge of HR information management.
Computer literacy in MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Excellent administrative skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good planning and organizing skills.
Problem solving skills.
Sound co-ordination, administrative skills.
