What You’ll Do

  • Process new reporting of injuries on duty for healthcare staff
  • Maintain and update the database for injury on duty documentation
  • Request necessary documents from stations and provincial offices
  • Provide training and guidance to various offices related to injury on duty processes
  • Address backlogs and ensure all outstanding injury on duty documents are processed
  • Compile correspondence for provincial components, stations, and units regarding outstanding documents
  • Conduct inspections of injury on duty files in all districts
  • Prepare for head office inspections related to injury on duty

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in core functions of the role
  • Proficiency in English and one other official language
  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant courses in human resources or administration are advantageous
  • General computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
