What You’ll Do

  • Manage recruitment and selection processes, including application handling and interview coordination.
  • Prepare appointment letters and capture successful appointments on the PERSAL system.
  • Handle transfer requests, compile necessary documentation, and manage employee transfers on PERSAL.
  • Update pay points and personnel information within the PERSAL system to ensure accurate records.
  • Draft internal and DPSA advertisements for vacant posts according to the approved organizational structure.
  • Maintain employee data, including updating registers for newly appointed staff and managing contract terminations.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum qualification of NQF Level 4/Grade 12 certificate from a recognized institution.
  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 06/07) in Human Resource Management, Development, or Public Management will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of the legislative framework governing public service, including the Public Service Act.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
