What You’ll Do

  • Provide professional HR advice to line managers regarding policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective interpretation and implementation of departmental HR management policies and regulations.
  • Capture HR transactions accurately on the PERSAL system.
  • Assist with recruitment and selection processes, supporting talent acquisition strategies.
  • Engage in organizational development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions.
  • Oversee human resource administration tasks, including conditions of service and leave management.
  • Draft submissions and provide comprehensive HR registry services.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior/Grade 12 Certificate is required.
  • Familiarity with the PERSAL system and proficiency in database and spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of the Public Service Act (PSA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), and relevant HR legislation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

A Senior/Grade 12 Certificate.

Knowledge of PERSAL system, database and spread sheet application.

Knowledge of the PSA, PSR and other relevant Human Resources prescripts and legislation.

Good communication skills (written and verbal) ability to work under pressure.

R237 453 per annum (Level 05)
