What You’ll Do

  • Administer the Training and Professional Development Program (TPP) for the Division.
  • Coordinate and manage training courses related to the Detective Service.
  • Respond to ad-hoc training requests and wellness initiatives.
  • Oversee the bursary coordination process in line with divisional instructions.
  • Manage and administer the internship program within the Division.
  • Supervise administrative processes to maintain efficiency and professionalism.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the office of the Support Head.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4).
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • Relevant qualifications or courses in human resources or administration will be an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and a willingness to extend hours when necessary.
