What You’ll Do

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in designated areas of the clinics.
  • Remove garbage and ensure proper waste disposal.
  • Clean and ensure hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other communal areas.
  • Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep as appropriate.
  • Clean kitchen utensils and equipment regularly.
  • Manage stock levels of cleaning materials and kitchen utensils.
  • Safeguard and store cleaning equipment and products securely.
  • Implement basic security measures for the facility.
  • Monitor potential hazards related to fire and electricity.
  • Perform simple maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and infection control guidelines.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Honesty, reliability, and the ability to perform physical tasks.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude.
