What You’ll Do

  • Provide thorough housekeeping and cleaning services in allocated areas.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other facilities.
  • Safely dispose of garbage and maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils.
  • Keep cleaning equipment safe, clean, and in working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Implement basic security measures, such as locking doors and closing windows.
  • Assess hygiene situations and detect potential problems to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist with simple maintenance repairs that do not require professional help.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physical strength to meet the demands of the role.
  • Honest, reliable, and a team player who can work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to rotate when required.
