What You’ll Do

• Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring all areas are tidy and hygienic.
• Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal methods are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, bathrooms, and other communal spaces.
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep as required.
• Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and report shortages.
• Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good condition.
• Implement simple security measures, such as locking doors and closing windows.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards in the building.
• Adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent) is required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical strength to handle the demands of the position.
• A reliable and honest work ethic, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to rotate duties as required.
