What You’ll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in assigned areas, including restrooms and offices.
• Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal methods are followed.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping as needed.
• Clean kitchen utensils and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Safeguard cleaning equipment and ensure it is kept in good working condition.
• Implement basic security measures, such as locking doors and closing windows.
• Monitor potential hazards in the workplace and report them promptly.
• Conduct simple maintenance repairs that do not require professional assistance.
• Adhere to Infection Control and Hygiene regulations and protocols.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must be honest, reliable, and physically capable of meeting the job’s demands.
