What You’ll Do

  • Provide housekeeping and cleaning services, ensuring all assigned areas are clean and tidy.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and other communal areas.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
  • Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use.
  • Control stock levels of cleaning materials and meal utensils.
  • Safeguard and maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
  • Report any repairs needed for cleaning equipment and address shortages or faults.
  • Prepare meeting spaces by cleaning and arranging boardrooms, including water and glass setups.
  • Implement basic security measures for the facilities.
  • Monitor and report hazards related to fire and electricity within the premises.
  • Conduct simple maintenance tasks that do not require professional assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and infection control measures.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent) is required.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
